On Feb. 2, around 30 employers came to the 22nd STEM Job Fair.
Students in the area of Sciences (Physics, Biology, Geology, Chemistry, etc.), Technology, Engineering and Mathematics, were able to ask questions, hand in their resumes and talk to several companies for about future jobs.
“I’ve seen students more prepared with a resume and making more questions,” said Vanessa Trahan, a recruiter from the University of Colorado Hospital.
Companies were offering entry level to more experienced positions.
Interim STEM Career Specialist Creseda Riccardi, M.S. Materials Engineering, explained that this year there were around five organizations looking for students in the Biology field.
“Students complained about not having enough companies looking for Biology careers students,” Riccardi said. “We listened and brought more for Biology students.”
